Dreams Come True
Pacey carefully lit the candle and placed the muffin,
along with the rest of the breakfast he had made, on
the breakfast tray. Today was Joey's 25th birthday,
and he was going to make it a special one.

He walked into their room and pulled the shades up
to let the sun in. He began to sing, "Happy birthday
to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear
Joey, happy birthday to you." He kissed her on the
cheek. "Wake up Jo."

"Hmm?" She smiled. "What are you doing?" "Come
on Jo, sit up." He got off of the bed and set the tray
over her legs. "Aw, Pacey, this is so nice." He held
up the blueberry muffin. "Here, make a wish." She
closed her eyes and then blew out the candle.
"What'd you wish for?" He asked. "If I told you, it
wouldn't come true now would it?" She answered.
"Well, if it's what I think it was, then this should do
the trick." He handed her a small blue booklet.

She opened it slowly. "Oh my gosh, Pacey." He
smiled. It was a plane ticket to Florida. "Wait, you
haven't gotten to the good part." He reached into
the fold on the back cover and pulled out two tickets,
to Walt Disney World.

Tears welled up in her eyes. "Oh, wow, Pacey." "This
is unbelievable." He slid next to her and put his arm
around her. She smiled. "Is this for real?" He smiled
back. "Yes, it's very real." She kissed him and gave
him a big hug. She wiped her eyes. " I-I still can't
believe this." "When are we leaving?" She asked.
"Tomorrow, the plane leaves around eleven-thirty."
He answered. "So, we should probably get packing."
He smiled at her. "This is really real?" she asked
again. Pacey laughed and pulled her into a hug.
"Yes this is for real." He whispered.

Pacey opened his eyes as he felt the plane dip down
and heard the pilot's voice. "We are now beginning
our descent." "If you look out of the left side of the
plane, you can see the city." "We should be arriving
in about five minutes or so, welcome to Orlando."
Pacey looked at Joey. He had his arm around her
and she was asleep on his shoulder. "Jo, wake up."
He kissed her hair. "We're here."

"Here is your key, Mr. Witter, enjoy your stay at
Caribbean Beach." "Thank you very much." Pacey
said. "Let's go." They got in their rental car and
drove to find their building. "I stayed here when I
was little and it is very cool." Pacey said. "You're
gonna like it." He smiled and took her hand. "Here
we are building 24, Martinique." "Ok, here is the key
to the room, you go check it out and I'll bring the
things up." "Ok, Pace." She said.

She went up to room 2427 and opened the door.
"Oh cool." She whispered. There were two beds with
bright, tropical bedspreads. There was a small
bathroom, but overall the room was perfect.

There was a knock on the door. "Hello!" Pacey said.
Joey opened the door and he trudged in with their
suitcases. "Pace, isn't this neat?" He put the
suitcases down. "Yeah, this is cool." He lay down on
the bed and sighed. "Now I can get used to this."
Joey lay down next to him. "Hey, let's go get
something to eat." She said. "I want to walk
around." "Ok, but I'm sweating already, let me
change." He answered.

They walked down to the food court and had hotdogs
and French-fries. After they finished Joey suggested
a walk around Barefoot Bay. Twilight settled in
quickly as the sun went down. "This place is so
beautiful." She gasped. "Oh look! You can see
Cinderella's castle!" "Oh yeah." "Y'know it's much
smaller than it looks." Pacey said. "But tomorrow,
when you see it for the first time, it takes your
breath away." "

It was beautiful. The castle was glowing with bright
colors. The sky was filled with stars and there were
spotlights dancing in the distance from Planet
Hollywood. After their nice walk alone, they decided
to retire early.

"Pace, this place is really amazing. It's nothing like I
dreamt it to be." Pacey finished brushing his teeth
and got into bed with her. "Well, this is the place
where dreams come true." He smiled and kissed her.
"Just remember, get a good night's sleep, because
tomorrow, the fun begins." He shut the light off and
snuggled next to her. He kissed her again. "I love
you Jo, goodnight." "Goodnight Pacey, I love you
too." Joey smiled; tomorrow would be a magical day.
